Speedway Senior High School is located in Speedway, Indiana. The town of Speedway has the population of 13,000. Speedway High School is a public high school with grade levels Nine through Twelve. Speedway has no busses and all the students either walk or get rides to school. It is the old time charm surrounded by the modern times of Indianapolis. |
Recycle...Recycle...Recycle
All community members can now recycle paper at Speedway High School. SHS will be paid for each ton of recycled paper it generates. Please bring any of the following items to the green and yellow bin located in the rear parking lot to help us earn money, and to promote a greener environment for the whole community. Newspapers Magazines Shopping Catalogs Junk Mail/Old Mail Office and School Papers Envelopes Paperback Books Hardcover Books that have had the covers removed NO CARDBOARD PRODUCTS

New Scholarships Incoming Seniors, what are you doing this summer? Would you like to earn college credit and potentially receive a college scholarship? Indiana State University will offer exciting one week seminars on various topics ranging from aviation, the environment, forensics, and news reporting. Students who complete the program with a grade of "B" and graduate high school with at least a "B" average will be awarded a $4,000 scholarship to attend Indiana State University!
